Site rehabilitation

If the evaluations carried out have revealed the presence of contaminants in the soil or in the water beyond the permitted limit values, our experts are able to propose a program aimed at the environmental rehabilitation of the site, including the preparation of documents to be submitted to the MELCCFP, if applicable, to ensure supervision of all necessary work, such as the dismantling of installations, the removal of tanks and excavation work.

The following steps will be implemented:

• Production of a site rehabilitation plan or a declaration of conformity for the MELCCFP, if required;
• Coordination and planning of work with the contractor of your choice;
• Supervision of excavation work on contaminated soil, loading and transport of soil to authorized centers;
• Monitoring of contaminated soils from the land of origin to its final destination via the Traces Québec digital platform in accordance with the Règlement concernant la traçabilité des sols contaminés excavés;
• Sampling of soils left in place to ensure that rehabilitation objectives are achieved
• Sampling of resurgence water to ensure management complies with municipal regulations;
• Interpret the results of physicochemical analyzes carried out by a laboratory accredited by the MELCCFP (soils and groundwater);
• Writing a completion report;

Carrying out monitoring of the environmental quality of groundwater post-rehabilitation, if required.
